As a proven Relationship Manager at Alerus, Barb Sheldon is committed to her customers and her profession alike. Barb joined Alerus in 2009 and has 35 years of banking experience, with 25 of those years focused on commercial lending. Within her role, she partners with businesses by developing, overseeing, and sustaining long-term customer relationships. Furthermore, she has worked with businesses from a wide range of industries across the St. Paul/Minneapolis metro area during the course of her career.Additionally, Barb is active in business advocacy groups including a tenured role as director for the White Bear Area Chamber, leading three committees while also being a member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers. In her free time, she volunteers for community events and is actively involved in her church.  Barb holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Metropolitan State University in St. Paul, Minnesota.
