Bob Weiss started in banking in 1970 and served as Beacon Bank’s President and CEO until the bank’s acquisition by Alerus Financial in 2016. He and two colleagues founded Beacon Bank in 1990 on the idea that it could be different from other banks and truly become their customers’ bank of choice. Bob is proud of his career at Beacon Bank and in the banking industry, including the fact that his bankers served as community leaders in every market that Beacon served.
