David "Chip" Norris joined Alerus Financial in 2007, bringing more than 30 years of banking and financial industry experience. Prior to joining Alerus, he served in a variety of leadership positions at other institutions. His past roles included senior vice president and division manager in midmarket commercial banking, as well as vice president and regional manager for merchant services, corporate card sales and SBA lending.  As leader of Alerus' Twin Cities market, he helps Alerus provide value-added services in commercial banking, private banking, retirement plan administration and investment management.
