While obtaining two masters degrees in Finance and MIS from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota, First Scribe founder Jay Perrill was exposed to a new layer running across the internet called the “World Wide Web”.  The internet had been around for more than a decade, but this new graphical layer running on top of the internet was just being developed.  Intrigued by its promise, Jay Perrill started First Scribe in 1993, one of the first web development companies in the country!    Today, First Scribe has evolved into a leading web site development, promotion, and hosting company located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  Our customer base includes The University of Minnesota, Honeywell, The City of Minneapolis, the United States Department of Agriculture, OPUS Corp., 2nd Wind Exercise, Mothers Against Drunk Driving, and many more.
